Amy

Amy did the Narconon New-Life Detoxification Program at Narconon Arrowhead.  This is what she has to say about her experience, and what she gained from the sauna detoxification component of the drug rehabilitation program

Amy says that before Narconon, her life was miserable.  She was miserable.  She didn’t have a relationship with her family. Nobody trusted her.  She was “screwing people over” that she cared about– all day, every day.  “It was horrible”, she says.

Right before she came to Narconon Arrowhead, she says she did not have a relationship at all with her family.  Her Mom had disowned her.  She did not spend Christmas with her family anymore, and had missed the last three Christmases with them.  She says she was constantly lying to her Mom and to her sister; and they didn’t trust her or like her at all anymore.  “They didn’t want anything to do with me”, she says.

When Amy first got to Narconon Arrowhead, it wasn’t what she expected at all.  She says she wasn’t happy at first, but with staff and everybody working in Drug-Free Withdrawal—she felt like they really cared.  She says they knew what she was going through, and they knew how to help her get through it without using drug– a new thing for her.  Amy says, “Everybody was great, and I felt really comfortable”.

Amy shares that the sauna part of the program was definitely one of her favorite parts of the Narconon program. “It was one of the things that helped me the most”.

She shares that she was still feeling really sick going into Sauna; that she was “Just not myself quite yet.”

About mid-way through Sauna, she started feeling a lot better—“like back to myself again”.  She had more energy. She was able to do more.  She was definitely happier.  “And I could see that difference in myself.”

While Amy says that there was no particular part of the program which she feels benefited her the most; she does know that towards the end of the program is when she saw the most change in herself.

“My responsibility level went up.  I was really able to mend things with my family.  And just become more focused on my future.”

Amy wants the reader to know that the Narconon program worked for her.  She didn’t think it would, but it did; “and no other program was able to change me the way this program did.”

Narconon Sauna Detox

The Narconon drug rehabilitation program is a drug-free approach to rehabilitation, and the Narconon New-Life Detoxification Program is a vital part of helping an addict achieve and maintain long-term sobriety.

Individuals routinely report benefits similar to those which Amy experienced, along with a myriad of others.  A key benefit of the Narconon sauna detoxification process is the reduction or elimination of the drug cravings which former addicts and alcoholics battle in their efforts to remain sober; and which are a common source of relapse and reversion.
